City & Guilds Computerized Accounts Intermediate to Advanced Including Exam
Course Description and Learning Outcomes:
The Beginners to Intermediate and Intermediate to Advanced Award in Computerised Accounts (8989-01/02) aims to meet the needs of candidates who work or want to work in career roles such as Accounting technicians, Accounts/Finance clerks and Private practice accountants.
The qualifications earned from this course will allow learners to develop and practice all the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the accounting sector and to contribute knowledge and understanding of basic accounting and book-keeping practices.
The Intermediate to Avanced Award in Computerised Accounts is aimed at those seeking a broad experience in using computerised accounts software and to enhance their competence, allowing them to use the application independently for routine activities. This course is also aimed at those who would like to enter employment in that of a computerised accounts environment.
Who Should Attend:
This course is mainly aimed at company managers, accountants, accounts clerks and students who wish to familiarize themselves with the world of accounting. We recommend that students who completed Level 1 of this course to continue with this level.

Attended and completed the Computerised Accounts Beginners to Intermediate course.
How long is this course?
This course is 7 weeks long.
1 session per week of 3 hours each. (21 hours in total)
Last Session would be the exam.
Delivery of Course:
The delivery of this course is carried out in class.
Qualifications:
This is the first Step in Sage training. The course will lead to the full City & Guilds Computerised Accounts Certification Intermediate to Advanced (MQF Level 3). This qualification is equivalent to an O-level Standard.

Course Contents of Intermediate to Advanced;
- Allocation of the payments in S/L and P/L
- Creation of an invoice through Sage
- Transfer of funds between bank accounts
- Posting of wages by Journal
- Returning cheques
